About Us

We are situated in Dural, 20 mins from Hornsby, 10 mins from Castle Hill. Established in the 1960's we showed and bred collies for 30 years and also had greyhounds, dachshunds and an assortment of rescue dogs. In 1986 I bought a border collie from the RSPCA as I had always loved them and had planned to buy one from a top breeder to breed and show; however my first was not my dream dog, but a rangy, poor looking boy who had been in a motorcycle accident in which his owner was killed. This dog was the best friend I've ever had - he could do anything at all from trick training to bike riding - anything you wanted to train him to do he would learn in minutes. This just confirmed my love of Border Collies and was the deciding factor to begin breeding. I spend 10 years studying bloodlines and visiting the Border Collie ring at shows while I showed other breeds. I worked as an obedience trainer for some years, training dogs in their own homes. This was an opportunity to view breeds I hadn't had myself, and as always the Border Collies were the best learners.

We rarely show dogs anymore, due to time constraints and the fact that my health is not what it was 15 years ago.
  Our breeding stock are all tested for their breed-appropriate tests such as for TNS, CL and hip scores, etc.


  We have incorporated some of the best bloodlines into our program from some of the greatest prefixes; breeders who have shown great dedication and given their all to advancing the breed. The following prefixes feature throughout our dogs' pedigrees: Nahrof, Monochrome, Borderlace, Glentress, Minimbah, Clan Abby, Korella, Sheermyst, Tullacrest, Crystalledge, Kennoway & Borcat.
